See every mailbox in one inbox
Inbox combines incoming messages from all the Groodmail mailboxes you can access. Each message shows the address that received it, so work from different projects stays easy to identify.
Choose a single mailbox in the sidebar or use the mailbox filter to select several addresses. Search filters loaded messages by sender or subject; it is not a full search of all historical email. Older messages load in pages as you browse.
Invite people with their own accounts
The workspace owner invites a teammate using an email address they already use. The invitation takes them through account setup and verification before they join the shared workspace. Each person keeps their own sign-in.
Choose the mailbox addresses that a member can open, read and manage. Owners can grant access to current mailboxes, include future mailboxes, and separately allow a member to create new addresses. Creating a mailbox uses the shared workspace allowance.
Keep mailbox permissions up to date
Edit a member’s access when their responsibilities change. Removing a mailbox from someone’s access prevents them from opening its messages. Their personal inbox filters do not change these permissions.
The sidebar refreshes its mailbox list automatically, and its refresh button checks immediately for newly available addresses. A person who creates a mailbox can access it, while other members receive access according to the owner’s settings.
Read, organize and forward incoming mail
Open messages, download attachments, mark messages read or unread and move them to Trash. Read status is shared, and reader indicators show which teammates have opened a message. Trash provides a 30-day restore window.
Connect Telegram recipients to forward new mail or verification codes from selected mailboxes. Groodmail currently receives email; sending customer emails and replying from the app are not enabled. It is not an external Gmail or Outlook inbox connector.
Before you start
What is included in the Free workspace?
Free includes up to 10 @groodmail.com mailboxes and 2 GiB of shared organization storage. Messages and attachments count toward storage, including mail in Trash until it is permanently removed. No payment card is needed to register.
Can every member see all mailboxes?
No. Members see mailboxes covered by their access grants. The owner chooses those grants and can update them in Team & access. Mailbox filters only narrow the addresses a person can already access.
Can I use my company’s custom domain?
New mailboxes currently use groodmail.com. Additional and custom domains are not available yet.
