A few good questions
Before you
move in.
A little clarity goes a long way.
Can I sign up now?
Yes. Create a free account using an email you already have, confirm the verification code, then create your @groodmail.com addresses inside the app. No payment card is needed.
What can I do with Groodmail today?
Create mailboxes, receive email and download attachments in a shared inbox. Invite teammates with their own mailbox permissions, filter by address, and forward new mail to Telegram or Discord. You can restore messages from Trash within 30 days and check workspace usage.
Can I send emails too?
The current preview is receive-only. Customer outbound sending is in development. The planned Free allowance is 10 recipient deliveries per rolling 24 hours, shared across your organization; it is not enabled yet.
Can Grood send my emails to a chat app?
Yes. Automations forward new email text or a clear verification code to Telegram or Discord after the recipient connects. You choose the mailboxes and recipients and can pause or remove forwarding. Original attachment files stay in the inbox. Manual text sharing to WhatsApp is also available; WhatsApp bot forwarding is not ready yet.
Can I use an address for work and social accounts?
You can receive mail and verification messages at your Groodmail addresses. Whether another platform accepts an email address is always up to that platform.
Which domains can I use?
You can currently create addresses on groodmail.com. Other domain choices and custom domains are not available yet.
Do I need a separate login for every mailbox?
No. Your mailboxes live under one account. Choose an address in the sidebar to open its inbox.
What does the Free plan include?
Up to 10 mailboxes and 2 GiB of shared organization storage for messages and attachments. Trash counts toward storage until its messages are permanently removed. Free registration is open; paid plans and billing are still in development, and the paid prices shown are a preview.
