Get new mail from your Groodmail addresses in a private Telegram conversation. Send the email text or just a clearly detected verification code, with control over every recipient.
Choose the mailboxes and the recipient
Create an automation inside your workspace, choose a Groodmail mailbox and enter the recipient’s Telegram username. You can prepare the forwarding rule before the recipient connects the bot.
Each mailbox can have several recipients. When you create more mailboxes, edit an existing automation and select the additional addresses for the same recipient. You do not need to connect that person to the bot again.
Connect the Telegram bot once
Share the private connection link shown in the automation with its intended recipient. They open the bot in Telegram and follow the connection instructions. Telegram requires this step before a bot can send messages to someone.
If the recipient has already used the bot, the connection screen also provides a command to paste into the chat. The app shows Connected when the recipient is linked. A username alone does not authorize delivery.
Pick full email text or code only
Full email forwarding sends the message text to the connected chat. Code-only forwarding sends a clearly identified verification code; messages without a clear code are skipped. Code mode does not stop the rule after one delivery.
Forwarding applies to new incoming mail after the connection is ready. It does not copy old inbox history. Original attachment files are not forwarded to Telegram; they remain available in the Groodmail inbox.
Keep control as the team changes
Pause forwarding, edit its settings or delete a connection from the automation’s menu. A recipient can also use /disconnect in the Telegram bot to stop receiving mail.
Choose mailboxes carefully: a connected recipient receives the content selected by the rule. Workspace members can manage automations for mailboxes they are allowed to access, and owners manage the team’s access in Groodmail.
Before you start
Can I forward an existing Gmail or Outlook inbox?
These automations use mailboxes created in Groodmail. Groodmail does not currently connect an external Gmail or Outlook inbox. Mail sent to your @groodmail.com address can be processed by its forwarding rule.
Does it work with verification emails?
Yes, code-only mode can extract a clear verification code from incoming mail. Ambiguous or missing codes are skipped. Whether another service accepts your email address is controlled by that service.
Can I start without a paid plan?
Yes. Free registration is open with up to 10 Groodmail mailboxes and 2 GiB of shared storage. Forwarding has delivery limits shown in the app. Paid subscriptions are not available for purchase yet.
